Foreword for The Dream Journal (which will soon be launched in Sep/Oct 2014)
The Dream Journal you hold in your hands is a labour of love.
Borne out of One Dream’s raison d’être that everyone should have a Dream --- a Dream which connects Self & Society, that as one gets more successful in life, to also help others fulfil their dreams.
In a very simple way, should all citizens & residents think & behave this way, Singapore & the world will be a much better, much brighter place.
The Dream Journal is a journal for your dreams, your hopes, & your memories. In this overly connected, excessively electronic age, we capture bits & pieces of ourselves --- our dreams, hopes, memories, photos, thoughts --- all over cyberspace, some on Facebook, a bit on Instagram, a portion on Twitter. All over cyberspace except that which perhaps makes the most sense, in our actual physical world, in a hardcopy tactile Journal where we can truly scribble, draw & colour; scribe, imagine & dream.
The Dream Journal is meant as a gift. A gift to Self, a gift to Society, a gift for yourself, a gift for your loved ones, a gift for your alma mater, a gift for your colleagues, a gift for your family members & friends, a gift for strangers, a gift for anyone you want to gift it to. Because it’s meant as a gift, One Dream & our publishing partners will always sell The Dream Journal at cost --- no mark ups, no revenues, no profits.
Whether you are a giver or recipient of The Dream Journal, we believe that it will transform & improve your lives, especially if you truly use it. Write in it, scribble & draw; dream with it; pen down your dreams, hopes, aspirations, ambitions; note down your memories. Let your Dream Journal travel with you as you go through Life’s ups & downs… Make it an essential part of your lives!
