From 2004 to 2009, Peter Ong was Managing Partner of Gallup for Singapore, HK and South-East Asia. From 1995 to 2004, Peter was with Andersen Consulting/Accenture; and from 1994 to 1995, Peter was with Singapore's Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) where he began his career.

On 12 January 2010, Peter intentionally stepped out of his “comfort zone” to create Rested Edge Advisory, a business advisory with a twist!

How time flies! Rested Edge Advisory celebrated its 10th Anniversary on 12 January 2020, and currently has a portfolio of 85 great organisations as clients, of which 6-8 are active at any one time.
Rested Edge Advisory employs the very best of expertise, learning, experiences, points-of-view (POVs) and philosophies which Peter has hitherto accumulated, and which he keeps formulating, applying, reflecting and improving.
Peter is well-known and deeply respected as a Managing Partner, a Trusted Advisor, an Executive Coach, a Leader Developer & Accelerator, and a World-Class Consultant.
Through Rested Edge Advisory, Peter provides Leadership Development, Executive Coaching, Talent, Succession & Performance Management Design & Implementation, Change Management, Culture Transformation, Human Capital Enhancement, Strategic Planning, HR Transformation, and Societal Advisory & Improvement Services. Peter also offers Business Advisory on an annual retainer or a “bill by hour” basis, as well as provide Talks and “Arm Chair” Conversations for his clients, their teams, organisations and communities. Peter is highly sought after to design, lead & facilitate Board & Senior Management sessions & retreats.
Peter's hobbies are walking, "seeing beyond corners, twice", reading, writing, teaching, advising, leading and dreaming up, applying & implementing "newer & better ways" of doing things.
Peter got married in 1993, and has 2 sons aged 24 and 22.
