A Day in Singapore when Behavioral Economics was the Main Topic of the Day
On 26 June 2008, almost 2 years ago, 250 of Singapore's leaders explored, expounded & discussed the very important topic of Behavioral Economics and how Behavioral Economics can be applied & implemented for the greater good of continents, countries, cities, communities, citizens, organizations & workers.
The event was Gallup's inaugural Global Behavioral Economics Forum. This event was held in Singapore and the guest-of-honour was none other than DPM & Minister-in-Charge of the Civil Service Mr Teo Chee Hean. Many heroes in the field of Behavioral Economics took to the stage that day, including 2002 Nobel Laureate for Economics Dr Daniel Kahneman (one notes that Dr Kahneman is the first, and to date, the only Psychologist to be awarded the Nobel Prize for Economics!), and world-renowed Well-Being Expert Dr Ed Diener.
